Business Forum Italy-India 2025
On December 10 and 11, ALMEC’s CEO, Ivano Albarello, took part in the Business Forum Italy-India 2025 in Mumbai, presenting the company’s innovative solutions in the field of industrial automation and IoT.
The meeting, the third after those in New Delhi and Brescia, featured Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Vedprakash Goyal. Minister Tajani reiterated the Italian government’s goal: to reach €700 billion in exports by 2027 and to strengthen collaboration with India.

With the participation of Cdp (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti), Simest, Sace, Ice, and Confindustria, Tajani emphasized the importance of the IMEC infrastructure corridor (India–Middle East–Europe Corridor), which will connect India and Italy through Israel, the Gulf countries, and Egypt.

Minister Tajani highlighted several strategic areas, ranging from innovation, research, and training to defense and space, as well as culture and the creation of joint ventures between Italian and Indian companies. He reaffirmed that the government will continue to support businesses and expressed hope for an acceleration of bilateral economic relations.
