Diaboard Launch
IoT digitalization platform designed for remote monitoring and remote diagnostics of electronic systems, both from ALMEC and third parties, and for creating services dedicated to industrial machines, replacing the ALMECdiag portal.

Technology transfer to India
Opening of ALMECHATRONICS India Pvt. Ltd., with a legal office in Mumbai and a plant in Bangalore.

Entry into the share capital of Eurogi
ALMEC acquires 23% of the share capital of Eurogi S.r.l. (Turin) and enters the industrial automation sector.

Investments in telemedicine
ALMEC, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin, establishes the innovative start-up ALDETECH S.r.l., operating in the medical and biomedical sector.


Relocation to the new ALMEC headquarters
Relocation to the new headquarters at Via Torino 196 in Dogliani (CN) and change of company name from AL.MEC S.r.l. to ALMEC S.p.a. In the same year, the first IoT portal, ALMECdiag, was launched.

ECE-R10 Approval for the ECU SPN5M
UN/ECE Regulation 10 Automotive certification for the SPN5M ECU.

Introduction of the resin coating process
The resin coating process is adopted for the enclosures housing the PCBs of certain ALMEC products. In the same year, the first prototype of Spidernode (SPN) modules is released.

CiA Member
CiA – CAN in Automation is the international organization (headquartered in Nuremberg) of users and manufacturers that develops and supports higher‑layer communication protocols based on CAN (such as CANopen, J1939, etc.).

Divisions: AL.MEC Service and AL.MEC Engineering
AL.MEC Service is the branch dedicated to vehicle mechanical outfitting, as well as mechanical and hydraulic repairs. AL.MEC Engineering focuses on the electronic design of products and systems, specifically for the setup of special-purpose machines.
